Welcome

The NFL Pre-Draft program requires countless mandatory details to implement an efficient and productive program. This booklet is a guide for how we will run daily operations and will provide specific details about each entity within the program.

Athlete Services

The Athlete Services department is the nucleus of the NFL Combine operation. We oversee the day-to-day operations and agent and athlete relations, specifically all scheduling, logistics, athlete/agent onboarding, and communication.

Medical Services

Athlete Medical

Each Gameface Training facility offers full athletic training, physical therapy and medical services. Each facility partners with local physical therapy clinics
and hospitals to outsource physical therapy treatment and medical services,
including X-ray and MRI imaging.

At Gameface Training, we know that our recovery is just as important as our training; Rest is one of our core pillars. Our athletes need to recover properly to train hard day in and day out. Wednesdays and Saturdays are our Recovery Days, meaning all activities are focused on athlete recovery. A typical recovery day consists of an early morning chiropractic adjustment, time with our Athletic Training team, a yoga session, a massage, wet room recovery, and some out-of- training programming. Training programming can be Wonderlic prep, interview prep, film sessions, mental fitness sessions, or NFL Life Skills sessions.

We emphasize sports science because it takes theguesswork out of everything we do from a programming standpoint. We track GPS, heart rate monitoring, force production, average velocities, sleep, velocity-based training (VBT) in the weight room, posterior chain resilience, and overall wellness.

These data points and factors contribute to eachathlete’s overall readiness from a day-to-day and week-to-week standpoint to ensure we maximize their potential in preparation for the NFL Scouting Combine and their individual College Pro Days.

Our in-house athletic training teams will include disciplines such as chiropractic, athletic therapy, massage therapy, return-to-play specialists, and corrective exercise specialists. Each facility has a head athletic trainer and two or three additional athletic trainers on staff throughout the entire combined training program.

Fuel is one of our core values; we greatly emphasize it throughout our draft program. The Nutritionist at each location will oversee all nutrition-related activities, including meals, supplementation, and hydration. The nutritionist will facilitate the initial assessments with each athlete to collect data to go into the athlete profiles in the Athlete Management System. From there, they’ll work hand in hand with their respective Chefs and Supplement Specialists to create a full-encompassing nutrition plan for each athlete. The nutrition plans will be based on the initial assessments and the micronutrient and macronutrient data we collect from the blood analysis results.
